I am not apologizing for writing the shortest write up of the amazing exclusive men who are nominated, then selected by our Officers at the Officer’ meeting and given the final decision by the Grand Knight as our Chosen Knight of the Month. The selected knight for this month would rather send you a most humble and sincere mesage. Here it is
Dear knights of Columbus,
I feel so honored to be selected as the Knight of the Month. I know I don’t deserve this honor, but I feel like the thinnest string that makes the strong rope. I enjoy helping with recycling and the carwash, and attending the meetings, but I also know there is much more I can do. I have three sons and a daughter. They keep me really busy. God has truly blessed me.
The knights are a great group of guys, giving, loving, hard working, and an example of true Catholics. Thank you knights and God bless you all.

The thinnest string that makes the strong rope!!! Of course my brothers you remember this lesson in the 2nd Degree Membership Ceremony of our Order, the degree of Unity, our brother Sergio embraces that part of a thread that makes our Council strong.
With this note I close this write up with the humblest of heart together with our brother, Sergio, who shows up, barring the demands of a family to be that string of a strong rope.
